Tips to Choose the Best Tennis Shoes for Adults

Tips to Choose the Best Tennis Shoes for Adults

Tennis is a very popular sport and has a huge fan base. There are a lot of people across the world who play tennis for both recreational purposes as well as professionally. Many kids who are interested in playing professionally join tennis coaching in Dubai and start training under a coach, sweating out day and night. Just like a tennis racquet, tennis balls and all other tennis equipment, tennis shoes play a vital role in the performance of the player and are chosen depending upon various factors. Whether you play frequently or occasionally, which type of court surface do you play on and the cushioning you need are some of the factors that you must consider while buying tennis shoes for adults. Let us discuss this further in detail.

1. Playing level

One of the major factors in deciding the type of shoe you must purchase is your playing level. You might be somebody who plays tennis for recreational purposes and is just an average player. You might be somebody who plays professionally and does a lot of training for the whole day. Also, you might be a person who is not a professional player but plays tennis regularly.

For Constant Use If you play somewhat frequently, you should search for superior padding to safeguard your joints. There are shoes made specifically for use during intensive sessions. In such situations, seek out maximum comfort along with solid durability. Choose comfortable shoes if you don’t go out to play too often.

2. Types of court you play on

As a tennis player, you must be knowing that there are three types of court surfaces namely clay, grass and hard courts and shoes for all these three surfaces are different. You must choose shoes according to the surface you play on as shoes designed to play on hard surfaces will not be suitable for clay courts and so on. The sole makes the biggest impact, therefore if you play on clay, choose a shoe with high grip (chevron pattern on the sole). Choose high durability for hard courts. Choose “all-surface” shoes if you are just starting out in tennis since they will give you the confidence you need to learn the game.

3. Comfort of the shoe

Tennis players can’t help but benefit from comfort. The form of the portion of the shoe known as the “upper” will determine how comfortable it is. When it comes to the comfort of the shoe, the insole and the padding at the sole also matter a lot. While playing the game, no matter which level you play, as a tennis player, you must not feel uncomfortable with your shoes at all. The cushioning, the padding, the grip on the court and around your toes must all be perfect. If any of these is lacking in the shoe you are wearing, you will not be able to play your game and might end up in minor to severe injuries as well. So, make sure you buy shoes which are totally comfortable.

4. Cushioning of the shoes

No matter their skill level, all tennis players need cushioning. Tennis is a game where frequent, hard contact with the court surface can rapidly start to hurt your joints. In order to avoid possible injuries, it goes without saying that you should strive to select a pair of shoes that are highly padded. Hurting your joints on a regular basis might end your career as a tennis player. If the cushioning is improper, you might hurt your ankles as well which could be a big problem.

Client Success Story

my coach is Chetun, I’ve been taking his class, both group one and individual one, both are great!!! He’s experienced coach, knows how to teach, especially for entry -intermediate level players. They also provide good racket (better if they replace some old strings). Very prime location and relatively good price for this quality.
